Youth Summer 2026 Season
Dates: May 19 - August 1, 2026
Dates: May 19 - August 1, 2026
Overview
The AGAC Youth swim program is comprised of two training groups (Blue & Gold) and is designed to introduce young athletes to competitive swimming and foster an appreciation for the sport. Practices will focus on proper stroke technique, turns and starts, along with endurance and proper training habits - all with the intention of best preparing young athletes for novice & age group level competition and beyond. All athletes will be strongly encouraged to represent our team at all local swim meets that the Blue & Gold groups are invited to.
Athletes are placed into their training group (Blue or Gold) based on ability, maturity, attitude and work-ethic. Both groups practice at the same time, and athletes are placed in a training group by the coaching staff.
The Gold Group is the introductory level to our program, placing a large emphasis on technique/fundamentals in all four strokes for athletes who have just progressed beyond swim lessons.
The Blue Group is our more advanced youth training group and incorporates endurance and interval training, while continuing to refine the skills learned in the Gold group. Both groups practice at the same time, and athletes are placed in a training group by the coaching staff.
